The Monsignor Lafferty Tuition Foundation (MLTF) awards tuition grants to students attending Catholic schools in the Diocese of Sioux City. You can make an investment in education by donating to the MLTF and also receive an Iowa income tax credit certificate of 65% of your donation. We receive gifts ranging from $25 to $30,000!
Cash poor but asset rich? Consider gifts of grain, stock or IRA rollovers or gifts through your donor advised funds!

- - $650 comes back to the donor as a credit on their State of Iowa tax liability
- - possible federal tax deduction for you - $250 if in the 25% bracket
- = a cost of only $100
- - $6500 comes back to the donor as a credit on their State of Iowa tax liability
- - possible federal tax deduction for you - $250 if in the 25% bracket
- = a cost of only $1000 and a $10,000 gift to tuition!
