Parish Activities

Following are a few of the events happening at St. Mary's Parish. Last-minute changes will be posted here also. Thanks for checking!

July:

August:

3 - National Night Out. Plan your block parties.

4 - 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. St. Mary's School preK-12 Registration in the parish center. Considering a faith-based school? Come visit with Erv or Bev and learn how St. Mary's can help your child!

4 - 4-5 p.m. Love and Life Pro-life group will have their monthly prayer vigil in front of Planned Parenthood.

4 - 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. The Paw Shop is open - purchase St. Mary's spirit wear during registration at the parish center. Youth and adult sizes available.

8 - 11 a.m. Acolyte Installation for Patrick Behm at Corpus Christi Parish, Fort Dodge.

11 - 7 a.m. Foundation Board in the church conference room

15 - youth retreat. Details TBA

18 - 11 a.m. staff meeting. Office will be closed until 11:30 a.m. We apologize for any inconvenience

18 - 5:15 p.m. School Board in Room #100

19 - 6:45 a.m. Finance Council in the church conference room

19 - 5-7 p.m. Preschool Come and Go Open House for the Tuesday/Thursday group. Bring your school supplies and see the classroom.

20 - 5-7 p.m. Preschool Come and Go Open House fo rthe MWF group. Bring your school supplies and see the classroom.

21/22 - Meet 7-12 Principal Erv Rowlands and wife Ann after the 5:30 p.m. and 10 a.m. masses and before the noon mass. Please welcome them in the east entrance of the church!

23 - First day of School at St. Mary's. 11:30 a.m. dismissal

26 - 9 a.m. Opening of the school year mass. Public invited

 

September:

1 - 6 p.m. Adult Choir Rehearsal in church

2 - 6:30 p.m. BVU Plunge - come see us at our booth!

6 - Labor Day - Parish Office closed

11 - 5:30 p.m. mass Adult Choir to lead music

12 - 9:30 a.m. registration/sign up for St. Mary's Best Ball tournament. 10 a.m. start. Lunch available. Start assembling your groups of 6!

26 - 2 p.m. Non-traditional student First Communion Celebration

 

October:

2 - 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Art and Craft Show in the gym

9 - Guild Salad luncheon

9 - 7 p.m. Confirmation

10 - 4:30 p.m. Bishop's Dinner for Catholic Education at the Sioux City Convention Center. Troy and Grace Ivey are the chaircouple for the dinner. Tickets go on sale August 23.
