There are a variety of summer camps for 2012 to enrich your child's faith life - and have fun! Some are local camps and some are regional camps.

TOTUS TUUS, a fun catechetical parish summer program, is being held at St. Mary’s Church July 7-13. The leaders of the camp are college students and seminarians who dedicate their summer to helping youth have a personal relationship with God! The grade school program (grades 1-6) runs from Monday-Friday 9:00 am -2:30pm July 9-13. The day includes catechetical instruction, games, skits, and daily mass. The camp ends with an incredible water fight. The junior and senior high program runs from 7:30pm-9:30pm, July 8-12. Please register your child in the parish office by July 2. If possible, donations of $20/family are requested. Participants in the grade school program should bring a sack lunch.
SUMMER SIZZLE, a Christian camp for girls entering 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, will be offered July 16-20. St. Mary Parishoners will volunteer beside Christians from other local churches. The focus of Summer Sizzle is to provide a safe environment and an opportunity for middle school age girls to experience God’s love and build fundamental life skills. The camp includes song, Scripture, a character-building focus, fitness routines, a lunch, and traditional camp activities such as arts & crafts and diverse fun workshops. Register in St. Mary’s Parish Office by June 18. The subsidized cost is $25 per camper. SONS OF HONOR, a Christian camp for boys entering 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade will be offered June 22-24. By focusing on the importance of community, teamwork and handling challenges, the Sons of Honor seeks to transform our community by sharing God’s love and encouraging young men to apply it to their daily lives. The camp will be held at Twin Lakes Bible Camp by Manson, Iowa. Please register in St. Mary’s Parish by June 1. The subsidized cost is $25 per camper.
